Little did Fran and Dick Hofmann know that making rosary bracelets while stationed in Alaska during the Korean War would lead to lifetime careers. The "hobby" soon led to opening a small religious gift shop in 1960. The first focus was on sales of religious cards, statues, rosaries and general gift items. In response to customer demand, a loyal customer base and dedicated staff members, the product mix soon grew to include all facets of products and services for liturgical worshiping communities as well as a broad array of unique gift ideas, beautiful jewelry and a huge selection of religious books, bibles and music. In 1978, the business incorporated and moved into shared ownership by parents Fran and Dick, daughter Jacquie, and son Patrick. Hofmann's operates with a commitment to doing everything possible to provide its customers with superior service and products that meet real needs and provide lasting value. Through the successful pursuit of our operating philosophy and the continued contributions of the dedicated staff, our company has achieved and continues to sustain a leadership share in the marketplace. As a result, our business, our employees, and the communities in which we live and work, flourish and grow. After 60 successful years, Patrick and his wife Julie now own Hofmanns. We strive to continue the traditions and values that Fran and Dick started many years ago!
